 of the Alumni Memorial Union near the rotunda to enjoy a slice of pizza an
 d connect with others in the Marquette community. Students planning to att
 end should RSVP . Pizza to Pews is a national movement started by Anthony 
 Gross and Kate DePetro\, two friends who decided to get a slice of pizza p
 rior to Mass at St. Joseph’s in New York City’s Greenwich Village. Tha
 t day has now turned into a widespread movement across the country bringin
 g people together one slice at a time. Marquette is the first university t
 hat Pizza to Pews has officially expanded to. The mission is to provide a 
 space for students to build community\, share food and grow in faith. Upco
 ming dates for Pizza to Pews will be Sunday\, Nov. 1\, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.
 m. in the AMU first floor lobby and Sunday\, Dec. 6\, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m
 . on the 2nd floor near the rotunda. Pizza to Pews is sponsored by Campus 
 Ministry and hosted by Hannah Gerwing and Nick Gross.
