The Marquette University Police Department is hosting free Self-Defense and Personal Security Awareness training classes throughout the fall semester at the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility. Personal Security Awareness training class reviews the steps you can take to limit exposure to personal and environmental security risks. Registration is available online . Remaining Fall 2026 Personal Security Awareness Class Schedule (all classes at 4 p.m.) Tuesday, Oct. 13, W+R Conference Room Wednesday, Nov. 4, W+R Conference Room Tuesday, Nov. 10, W+R Conference Room Self-Defense class is open to female and male participants. The class incorporates simple strategies for escaping potentially dangerous situations. Registration is available online .
