The Marquette University Police Department is hosting free Self-Defense and Personal Security Awareness training classes throughout the fall semester at the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility. Self-Defense class is open to female and male participants. The class incorporates simple strategies for escaping potentially dangerous situations. Registration is available online . Remaining Fall 2026 Self-Defense Class Schedule (all classes at 4 p.m.) Wednesday, Nov. 11, Blue Studio MUPD regularly offers several free safety classes throughout the semester to students, faculty and staff. Be proactive with your personal safety by signing up for these classes to learn new skills and tips. Dates for all safety classes offered by MUPD this semester are available online .
